Timber Moose Lodge | Timber Lakes, Utah

Working with the sweetest brides is one of the best parts of our job! Camille, our stunning bride, knew exactly what she had envisioned for her big day! Clean, simple, sophisticated, whites and greens with accents of gold. We used different textures and added lots of dimension to centerpieces and bouquets. The wedding reception was held at Timber Moose Lodge, in Timber Lakes, Utah. 'Google' pics of the lodge, because it is AMAZING!  Thanks Camille for being so great to work with!! We wish you all the happiness with being a newly-wed!

Red Butte Gardens | Salt Lake City, UT

Dana & Sabrina, our dashing groom and bride tied the knot in early November at the beautiful Red Butte Gardens. The weather was wonderful and allowed for an outdoor ceremony with lots of candlelight and warm ambiance. The bride has a very lovely taste for fine things, and chose to go with a Kate Spade inspired feel for the wedding. Lots of gold, black, white, polka dots, and touches of tasteful bling.  We used gold containers with mounds of baby's breath to create a simple yet elegant look. The use of many candles and gold accents lit the Orangerie room at Red Butte with a very sweet and subtle glow, making the night even more enchanting. We absolutely loved working with our sweet bride who was so trusting with decisions and ideas. A huge and warm thank you to Dana & Sabrina for letting Lilac Floral be your wedding day florist! XO

Utah Museum of Fine Arts | Salt Lake City, Ut

Danielle & Jay, our bride and groom were about as cool as they come. Their color palate was vibrant and refreshing along with their sense of style, humor, and attitudes. Both Danielle & Jay are chemists and have a passion for fine art. So, it was no surprise that their wedding would be held at the prestigious Utah Museum of Fine Arts located in Salt Lake City, UT on the University of Utah Campus. The bride's mom was an absolute charmer with the best sense of  grace and style. She surprised the bride and groom with little chemist beakers she found. We incorporated the beakers as centerpieces and they added yet another personalized detail to this charismatic wedding.  Flowers included were: cherry brandy roses, peach spray roses, white veronica, blue delphinium, safflowers, thistle, dahlias, ranunculus, feather celosia, craspedia balls, and other unusual greens & berries.  A very, very BIG thank you to the bride & groom and both of their families for choosing Lilac Floral to be a part of their wedding celebration. Beehive House & This is the Place Park | Salt Lake City, Ut

Lauren + Mack were such a lovely bride & groom to work with. The color palate consisted of all shades of ivory, cream, peach, and coral with touches of vibrant greenery. Lauren mentioned she had a love of Coral Charm peonies, so we didn't hesitate to make sure every centerpiece had some of the seasonal beauties. Plus, the wedding was in June, again the perfect month for any peony lover! The day of Lauren & Mack's wedding was a complete downpour of early Summer rain. Lauren was such a trooper and didn't even bat an eyelash at the rain. In fact, she embraced it and it made for some of our favorite photos! Enjoy Lauren & Mack's wedding photos, from the Salt Lake City LDS Temple grounds, to the Beehive House across the street and a reception to follow at This is the Place Park. Thanks Lauren & Mack for choosing Lilac Floral as your wedding florist! Photos courtesy of Michael Rowley Photography

We had a great opportunity to help a dear friend and fellow florist with her sister-in-law's wedding flowers. Natalie Newman of Natalie Newman Designs  gave us the color palate and floral wishlist and we took it from there. The bride has excellent taste in flowers (in our opinion!) and fell in love with peonies...which we love but the wedding was in August. We had many wholesalers scour the flower markets and sure enough, they found peonies which made for one happy bride! The details of Chelsie's wedding were spot on and the day could not have been any more beautiful. Some of the wedding flowers included; peonies, o'hara garden roses, juliet garden roses, patience garden roses, sweet peas, cream stock, blush astilbe, yellow ranunculus, yellow chamomile, cafe au lait dalias, snow on the mountain greenery, acacia foliage, and other seasonal greens. Thanks so much to Natalie and her amazing family for letting us help with such a big and delightful day! All photos courtesy of Brooke Bakken Photography xo
