Utah Florist

Soldier Hollow | Midway, Ut

Our late Summer wedding took place in the beautiful city of Midway, Utah. If you have never visited Midway, you should as soon as you can because it is charming, quaint and scenic. Solider Hollow is a golf course and lodge nestled into one of the many green and dense hillsides of beautiful Midway. Our bride & groom chose this location for the perfect outdoor ceremony and reception. The color palate was a very soft, lush range of hues from ivory, blush, peach and touches of green. Vachel & Evan (our bride & groom) happen to be very dear friends and clients of Lilac Floral so it was a real delight to be able to work with them.  Both Vachel & Evan have a love for craft beer, so when we spoke about details a light went off....HOPS! August is the perfect month, and limited month for finding freshly cut Hops (a very crucial ingredient for craft beer). We were able to find 32 feet of Hops garland for the ceremony arbor and reception fireplace thanks to some of our amazing wholesalers. Not only was this wedding refined and detailed, and but also very fun, lively and refreshing. So many thanks to Vachel, Evan, and their friends and families for making this a wonderful Summer wedding and allowing Lilac Floral to be a part of such a grand ceremony. All stunning images, courtesy of Christine Olson Photography. Cheers!

Hotel Park City & Ruth's Chris | Park City, Ut

The weather for this late August wedding could not have been more unpredictable or beautiful! The rain poured all morning long and just an hour before the ceremony the sun peaked out from behind the stormy clouds. We were able to set up our outdoor ceremony area. The bride had a very refined and traditional style she was seeking for her big day. The color palate consisted of creams, ivory, white, and shades of green. Calla lilies were among the bride's favorite so we included those in all centerpieces, boutonnieres, corsages, and of course her cascading bouquet. Amanda and her sweet mom and groom were a brilliant trio work with! Thanks to the amazing staff at Hotel Park City & Ruth's Chris for all their help with ceremony and reception set up with the uncertain weather.  Most of all thanks to Amanda + Matthew for trusting Lilac Floral with their wedding day flowers!
