Dreaming of Summer weather and bright blooms. We absolutely adored working with our lovely bride, Crystal. Not only did she choose one of our favorite wedding venues, she had a fun & bright color palate and loves succulents. (as do we!!) We incorporated lots of textures, dimension and Summer elements to her bouquet and other wedding flowers. Wooden boxes were used as the containers for her centerpieces. The details of this wedding were absolutely on point! From the hand painted watercolor invites and name cards to a custom built frame hung from the branches of the mature trees at the Cottonwood Club in Cottonwood Heights. So thrilled to see these beautiful images. We truly love and admire all our brides. Lindsay and her sweet mom were so great to work with. Congrats to the happy couple, Lindsay + John. Thanks for choosing Lilac Floral!

We absolutely loved working with Laura McAllister of Laura Lorraine Designs on this breathtaking Sundance wedding. The wedding ceremony was held in the back area of the rustic Rehearsal Hall building. Guests were greeted with warm and cozy fur throws on their seats. Our bride, Samantha, wanted a romantic, lush, feminine feel for the flowers. We used sahara roses, blush peonies, cream ranunculus, and lots of assorted greenery along with accents of gold and copper! Working with Laura & Samantha was so fun, and the planning process turned into a friendship/"let's meet for coffee" status. Wishing Samantha & Patrick all the love and happiness! XOXO

Excited to share this fun and charming Log Haven wedding. Our fun and sweet bride Jessica, and groom, Hennie were married at the pond up Millcreek Canyon at the beautiful Log Haven restaurant. After the ceremony, guests mingled, enjoyed cocktails and headed to the back patio of Log Haven for a gourmet dinner. Jessica, a Utah native, loves bold color and wildflowers. Hennie, was born in South Africa and eventually moved to Utah. South Africa's country's flower happens to be proteas. There are many varieties of proteas. We used King Proteas and blushing bride proteas in bouquets, bridal party flowers and centerpieces. We also incorporated wild flowers. Planning this wedding was so fun and we loved the color palate. Perfect for a Summer mountain wedding. Enjoy the beautiful images courtesy of Sarah Brunson photography. Cheers!
Snowbasin Resort in Huntsville, Utah is among one of our favorite venues and this wedding was a favorite. Our awesome bride knew the look and feel for her wedding day flowers and then trusted us to take care of the color palate and flower selection. We used deep hues of burgundy, wine, purple, lavender and assorted greenery and berries. Enjoy the captivating photos courtesy of the very talented Alixann Loosle Photography

Working with the sweetest brides is one of the best parts of our job! Camille, our stunning bride, knew exactly what she had envisioned for her big day! Clean, simple, sophisticated, whites and greens with accents of gold. We used different textures and added lots of dimension to centerpieces and bouquets. The wedding reception was held at Timber Moose Lodge, in Timber Lakes, Utah. 'Google' pics of the lodge, because it is AMAZING! Thanks Camille for being so great to work with!! We wish you all the happiness with being a newly-wed!

Simple, elegant & sophisticated was this bride + groom's vision for their wedding. A mix of white, creams and shades of greens inspired the use of fluffy white hydrangeas, cream roses, spray roses, white ranunculus and lots of assorted greenery. The guests arrived at the base of Snowbasin and took a gondola ride up to the Needles Lodge. The ceremony took place on the patio over-looking the gorgeous ski resort. After the ceremony guests headed back down the mountain via gondola and had cocktails and a plated dinner at Earl's Lodge. Enjoy the wonderful wedding photos of Samantha & Andrew's big day!

Working with Molly & Zosh was a wonderful and easy going process. They both knew what they had envisioned for their wedding; a fun, laid-back, welcoming event. Guests were greeted at the base of Canyons Village with a glass of champagne & headed up on the Orange Bubble Express ski lift. Lookout Cabin sits above 8,000 feet above sea level. A wonderful venue for a hot Summer day! We incorporated lots of fresh herbs; lavender, sage, mint, chamomile, rosemary and blooming oregano. We designed the centerpieces in wood boxes with lots of dimension and textures. Thanks Molly & Zosh for being such a wonderful couple to work with!! Cheers!

We have been so very, very excited to blog this special Spring wedding held at Louland Falls, located halfway up Parley's Canyon. The bride & groom just happen to be near and dear family. We had a blast planning every detail with our bride, Betsy. Touches of gold polka dots, mercury gold glass, shades of blush, rose quartz, pink, creams, greens, and light 'serenity' blue were included into the floral designs. Flowers included Juliet garden roses, ranunculus, blue tweedia, bunny grass, snow on the mountain, white hydrangeas, peach stock, white dephinium, assorted berries and greenery and our favorite flower ever...the Sarah Bernhardt Peony.
We used over 200+ feet of fresh bay leaf garlands throughout the reception area. Our favorite garland detail was the head table. We loved adding fresh greenery to all the beautiful signage, rented from Refined Vintage Rentals. There was also a lemonade stand and lounge area with vintage furniture also rented from Refined Vintage. Betsy found her jaw-dropping dress from local bridal dress shop, Alta Moda. Exquisite cake made by Rue de Lis. The groom wore Armani. A huge thank you to all the wonderful vendors who helped make Betsy & Scotty's wedding day dreams come true!! Congrats to this blonde=bombshell couple!! All engagement + wedding photos taken by the talented Lora Grady.
Berry tones, garden romance and elegance are just a few descriptive words to sum of this dreamy backyard wedding. Blue privet berries, burgundy dahlias, garden roses, peonies and ranunculus were paired with assorted seasonal greenery and other unique berries. Enjoy the wonderful photos courtesy of Tracy Hill.
Woodland, whimsical, mossy and earthy were all the descriptive words our brides used to describe what they envisioned for their wedding at the beautiful Sundance Mountain Resort. The reception was held outdoors near the Redford Center, and a reception to follow inside the Redford Center. The color palate was simple and sophisticated. Creams, light peach, navy, green and touches of gold. Wild and dynamic dimension was used for bouquets and table centerpieces. We used various greenery trailing down the vineyard style tables. Birch lob candles adorned succulents planted in terra cotta and loose clusters of blooms along with lots of candlelight. We absolutley loved working with out stunning and charming brides, Ashley & Arica. Congratulations to you both!! XO

Butter cream, gray, shades of greens and ivory were this darling bride's color palate. A bit whimsical and a touch vintage inspired. Sarah was a fun and bubbly bride that was so clearly excited to be marrying the man of her dreams in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. A beautiful wedding reception was held afterwards at the elite Market Street Grill & Oyster Bar in Cottonwood, Utah. Enjoy the wonderful images courtesy of Tracy Hill Photography
A big and grateful thanks to Sarah and her wonderful family for choosing Lilac Floral! We love our brides!!
This Summer we were lucky to have some pretty amazing brides. This bride happens to be a very dear friend. We were so fortunate to be included in the planning process from help with selection of the venue, cake, flowers (of course :)) and actual wedding date! Angela & Lee were wed up Little Cottonwood Canyon at the secluded Alta Lodge that backs up right into cool, pine tree packed mountains. The color palate included shades of peach, coral, ivory, and green. Touches of gold, navy and white stripes were among many details with the travel themed wedding. We were able to hunt down the last of the season's coral charm peonies. They came from all the way across the globe, but thanks to wonderful wholesalers and growers, they made it happen! Peonies, Juliet garden roses, cream and coral ranunculus and peach roses adorned the patio of the Alta Lodge. Wishing Ang & Lee all the happiness and love! Congrats you two love birds!
Enjoy the beautiful photos from Isaac Wu Photography.
When we first met with Kaylan, the bride, she expressed her love and the importance of flowers at her wedding....(we love hearing that!) Kaylan's color palate consisted of shades of peach, coral, light pink, cream and touches of Spring yellow with an accent of light blue. The flower line-up started with peach amaryllis, juliet garden roses, peach stock, coral hypericum berries, craspedia balls, white garden roses, pink garden roses, pink sweet peas, and huge Japanese peach, coral, blush and white ranunculus and blooming hanging jasmine. March is among a favorite month for weddings since the availability of lush flowers is very abundant. Red Butte Gardens is also a favorite venue!! Wishing this bride & groom all the happiness!

Our beautiful bride Liza, and groom Matt were divine to work with. Their romantic wedding details and subtle color palate were paired nicely with touches of organic elements such as succulents planted in rustic wood containers and lots of free forming greenery. The happy couple wed under a magnificent "wedding tree" at the High Star Ranch, located in Kamas, Utah. The weather could not have been more perfect on this Summer day and the guests sat on handmade fruit wood benches and were serenaded by the trickling stream nearby. Flowers included in Liza & Matt's wedding were: Juliet garden roses, white scabiosa, cream ranunculus, white lisianthus, silver brunia berries, sahara roses, silver dollar eucalyptus, seeded eucalyptus, and other various greens and berries. Bouquets were adorned with hanging French silk ribbon. For more stunning images of this ranch wedding, head over to Utah Bride & Groom to see the feature in the 2015 Summer/Fall magazine edition.

Dana & Sabrina, our dashing groom and bride tied the knot in early November at the beautiful Red Butte Gardens. The weather was wonderful and allowed for an outdoor ceremony with lots of candlelight and warm ambiance. The bride has a very lovely taste for fine things, and chose to go with a Kate Spade inspired feel for the wedding. Lots of gold, black, white, polka dots, and touches of tasteful bling. We used gold containers with mounds of baby's breath to create a simple yet elegant look. The use of many candles and gold accents lit the Orangerie room at Red Butte with a very sweet and subtle glow, making the night even more enchanting. We absolutely loved working with our sweet bride who was so trusting with decisions and ideas. A huge and warm thank you to Dana & Sabrina for letting Lilac Floral be your wedding day florist! XO

We have been so excited to share these gorgeous engagement photos of the most lovely bride & groom, Kaitlyn & Sean. The ravishing photos were taken by the accomplished Gideon Photography. Kaiti & Sean have a deep love for Southern Utah, Zion National Park especially. Everything from Kaiti's stunning dress to Sean's dapper suit blended in beautifully with Nature's perfect setting. Olive branches and red rock...you can't go wrong. Kaiti's bouquet consisted of Vendella roses, spray roses, cream ranunculus, white lisisanthus, silver brunia berries, rosemary, olive, bayleaf, various ferns and other seasonal greenery. Stems were bound with hanging cream Dupioni silk ribbon.
Stay tuned for the wedding day photos!!!
Amelia & Berg, (our graceful bride and delightful groom) traveled all the way from the sunny beaches of Australia to experience the Winter wonderland of Park City, Utah. Their wedding was very small and intimate with close family and friends. We had so much fun planning with Amelia, one of our favorite things was to speak with her over the phone while adoring her charming Australian accent!! Amelia's vision for her wedding dinner was a warm and romantic glow over a plated dinner hosted by the exquisite High West Distillery. We added bayleaf greenery on the chandeliers and accented the vineyard style dinner tables with loose greenery, berries, blooms and lots of candlelight. Everyone in Amelia's bridal party and wedding were so charismatic. Thanks Amelia & Berg!! Please come visit us in Utah again! XOXO
